The Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have mysteriously disappeared. The triangle's boundaries are generally defined by the points of Miami, Florida; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Bermuda. The first recorded incident of a disappearance in the Bermuda Triangle was in 1945, when five U.S. Navy TBM Avenger torpedo bombers on a training mission vanished while flying over the area. Despite extensive searches, no wreckage or bodies were ever found, leading to speculation about the cause of the disappearance. Over the years, numerous other incidents have been reported, including ships and planes vanishing without a trace.
